In 2012, Networkers Home received the Best CCIE Training Institute in India award at the BrandsAcademy Education Excellence Awards. The award was presented by Dr Shashi Tharoor — Member of Parliament for Thiruvananthapuram, former Indian Minister of State for External Affairs, and former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations.
The recognition was based on CCIE Routing & Switching and CCIE Security pass rates, alumni placement track record, and infrastructure assessment. Networkers Home was selected from a national candidate pool that included franchise-based institutes operating across multiple cities.
Why this matters: India's networking-training market is dominated by franchise chains where the brand's name is everywhere but the actual lab quality varies wildly between locations. We've stayed deliberately single-campus — the HSR Sector 6 facility — which is what made consistent CCIE-track quality possible.
The 2012 award still applies in practical terms: the same founder (Vikas Swami, Dual CCIE #22239), the same teaching philosophy, the same hardware-first lab approach, just with continuously upgraded equipment. Awards are point-in-time recognition; the operating model is the moat.
Beyond individual students — corporate cohorts
Networkers Home has run direct corporate training for engineering teams of multiple Indian and international companies. The curriculum, lab access, and trainer model is identical to the individual-student tracks — what changes is the scheduling (compressed timelines, on-site or hybrid delivery) and the cohort sizing.

A 20-year institutional record
Networkers Home founded by Vikas Swami in Bangalore. Initial focus on CCIE Routing & Switching prep with real Cisco hardware (uncommon at the time — most institutes were already drifting toward simulator-only training).

Cybersecurity track launched with the Networkers Home Network Security Operations Division — a real-customer SOC where students complete a 4-month paid internship as part of the Cybersecurity Pro program.
Multi-vendor firewall corner expanded — Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint hardware added alongside Cisco. PCNSE / NSE7 / CCSE prep tracks launched.
AI Networking + AI Security tracks launched. Owned-subsidiary product portfolio (StandVPN post-quantum WireGuard, AntiDrift PQC SaaS, Sovereign EDR, AEONiti AEO platform) opened up real-product internships for advanced students.
