S3, EBS, RDS and DynamoDB. Compare access patterns, availability requirements and operational work rather than choosing a service by name alone.

Start with the destination and the intended path. Inspect subnet routes, then the relevant gateway or endpoint. Check security groups, network ACLs and permissions where they apply. Explain what the evidence rules out before changing the configuration.
